  • What types of pets do you board?

    Junkyard Dawgz boarding services cater to dogs and cats, ensuring they have a secure, hygienic, and pleasant stay during their time.

  • What do I need to bring when boarding my pet?

    Junkyard Dawgz suggest bringing your pet's regular food, any necessary medications, a favorite toy, and their bedding to enhance their comfort. While Junkyard Dawgz provides clean bedding and bowls, you're welcome to bring your pet's own if preferred.

  • Do you require vaccinations for boarding?

    Indeed, Junkyard Dawgz requires proof of current vaccinations to ensure the health and safety of all pets in care. For dogs, this includes rabies, distemper, and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccines. Cats must be vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP.

  • How often will my dog be exercised?

    Several times a day, dogs are taken out for exercise and bathroom breaks. For those who aren't dog-friendly, Junkyard Dawgz provides private turnouts and individual walking sessions.

  • Can my pets stay together if I have more than one?

    Junkyard Dawgz do not offer multiple pet discounts.

  • What happens if my pet gets sick during their stay?

    Junkyard Dawgz will transport your dog to their regular veterinarian, provided the clinic is within a 40-mile radius. Junkyard Dawgz will always contact the owner first to determine whether veterinary care is desired. In the event of an emergency, Junkyard Dawgz will take your pet to our partner veterinarian, Ancare, located in La Salle, IL.

  • Do you offer long-term boarding?

    Junkyard Dawgz accommodate both short-term and long-term boarding needs, providing options for extended stays.

  • Do you groom all dog breeds?

    Junkyard Dawgz is equipped to handle dogs of all sizes, offering breed-specific grooming services including cuts and trims.
